There is no other place quite like it. Rocheport has a distinctive history of river lore dating back to Lewis & Clark’s 1804 expedition and the railroad that was built in 1892. A small community “where everyone knows your name” and hospitality and comfort offer a unique setting for a memorable experience. We have some of our favorite attractions and events listed below. See rocheport.com for complete information.
The Katy Trail is America’s longest rails-to-trails project, spanning 225 miles across Missouri. In the Rocheport area, the trail winds between the mighty Missouri River and towering bluffs, offering vistas that are breathtakingly beautiful in all four seasons. Bike rentals are available March though mid-November at the Trailhead.
Known for its spectacular bluff top view of the Missouri River valley, Les Bourgeois is one of the area’s premier cultural attractions. The Bistro’s floor to ceiling windows provide an unparalleled venue for appreciating Missouri’s beautiful changing seasons or celebrating special occasions. Visitors are drawn to the Bistro for exquisite meals, the A-Frame/Wine Garden for an outdoor retreat or the tasting room for winery tours.
